York Township maintains nine (9) municipal parks. The centerpiece of our recreational facilities is York Township Park, located on Oak Street about a half a block from South Queen Street. York Township Park also has the Park Building (a community room available for rent–see below), a walking trail, 2 other playgrounds, 3 pavilions, and more!
The York Township Public Works Department provides maintenance for the parks and fields. A Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) is on staff and performs regular inspections of all of the Township’s playgrounds.
